August 1, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization (AZSTAND), subordinate to the State Service for Antimonopoly Control & Consumer Market Supervision (under the Ministry of Economy), has adopted new state standard AZS 956:2024 "Chicken meat (carcasses of chickens, chickens, broiler chickens and their parts). Technical conditions".

ABC.AZ was informed at AZSTAND that the new state standard was adopted in order to eliminate the shortcomings that arise in poultry farming in the country, improve the quality of production.

The specified state standard was submitted for discussion by the technical committee for standardization "Livestock, poultry, beekeeping, cocoons and forage lands" (AZSTAND/TK 24) and adopted by the institute, then entered into the State Fund of Normative Documents on Standardization.
