August 1, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan has announced plans to significantly increase gas production in the country.

According to the statement, it is planned to increase annual gas production up to 91 bcm by 2030.

Since the beginning of 2024, the country has been demonstrating good performance in the oil & gas sector. In the 1st half of the year, 44.7 million tons of oil and gas condensate were produced.

The growth in gas production is particularly noteworthy: gas production reached 30 bcm (101% higher against Jan-Jun 2023).
