August 2, Fineko/abc.az. Uber Technologies (U.S.) and BYD (China) have announced strategic partnership.

ABC.AZ reports that as part of the partnership, 100,000 new BYD electric vehicles will be delivered to the Uber platform for the markets of Europe and Latin America with plans for further expansion into the markets of the Middle East, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

The companies also promised to cooperate in development of future self-driving BYD cars, which will be deployed on the Uber platform.
