August 2, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2024, our country imported 525,966 smartphones for $148,228.

ABC.AZ reports that compared with the 2023 same term, this is an increase in quantitative terms by 21.3% or 92,283 phones, and in value terms – by 26.3% or $30,822.

The average price of one imported smartphone reached 479 manats for Jan-May 2024 (460 manats for Jan-May 2023).

Over Jan-May 2024, Azerbaijan imported smartphones mainly from China (400,896 phones), Vietnam (91,482 phones), India (31,323 phones) and the U.S. (2,061 phones).

The average price of an imported smartphone from China was 455 manats, from Vietnam - 577 manats, from India - 396 manats and from the U.S. - 1,990 manats.

At the same time, Azerbaijan exported 804 smartphones for $132,000 for Jan-May 2024.

The average price of smartphones exported to the Czech Republic (232 phones) and Hong Kong was 279 manats.
