August 5, Fineko/abc.az. In July, 271,591 tourists from abroad visited Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Tourism Agency that the figure is 21% more versus July 2023.

In July, the country received the largest number of tourists from Russia, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, India and Iran in descending order. The number of tourists who arrived in our country from Russia reached 78,140 people (8% more than a year earlier). The tourist flow from Türkiye to Azerbaijan grew by 11% year-on-year and amounted to 34,719 people, from Saudi Arabia - by 11% up to 24,255 people, from India - 2.6-fold up to 20,124 people, from Iran - by 24% up to 17,901 people.
Over Jan-Jul 2024, 1,502,695 tourists from abroad arrived in Azerbaijan (31% more than a year earlier).
