August 13, Fineko/abc.az. International Energy Agency (IEA) has updated its global oil demand forecast for 2024-2025 APA reports citing tge agency's monthly reports.

According to the report world oil demand growth expectations for 2024 and 2025 are largely unchanged at 970 kb/d and 980 kb/d, respectively.

For 2024 as a whole, global oil supply growth is forecast to average 770 kb/d, which will boost oil supply to a record 103 mb/d.
In addition, the Agency announced its forecast for the relevant indicator for 2025. According to the forecast, the global daily oil demand next year will be 104,013 mb/d (previous forecast – 104.04).
