August 13, Fineko/abc.az. In January-July 2024, AZN 37.3 billion worth of industrial products were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field, APA reports citing the State Statistical Committee.

Compared to the corresponding period of 2023, production in the oil and gas sector increased by 1.1%, and in the non-oil and gas sector by 8%.
According to information, 65% of the industrial output is in the mining sector, 29.3% in the processing sector, 4.8% in the electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply sector, and 0.9% in the water supply, produced in the waste treatment and processing sector.

It is noted that in the mining sector, the production of marketable oil decreased by 4.3%, while marketable gas production increased by 6.4%.
