August 13, Fineko/abc.az. In January-July of this year, 9,438.7 million manats were invested in fixed capital in Azerbaijan, which is 2% more than in the same period last year.

According to Report, which cites the State Statistics Committee, investments in the oil and gas sector increased by 0.4% over the year, while investments in the non-oil and gas sector increased by 2.9%.

A total of 4,914.8 million manats or 52.1% of the investments used during the reporting period were in production sectors, 3,404.4 million manats or 36.1% were in service sectors, and 1,119.5 million manats or 11.8% were in residential construction.
Some 7,728.6 million manats or 81.9% of investments directed to fixed capital were domestic investments, 6,632.7 million manats or 70.3% were directed to construction and installation works.
