August 27, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Russia announced that it had revoked Goldman Sachs' brokerage license in the country following the bank's request, ABC.AZ reports.

Earlier this month, on August 13, American Express also had its license withdrawn in connection with the company's voluntary liquidation process in Russia. The exodus of Western banks from the Russian market has been accelerating since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine in February 2022.
