August 28, Fineko/abc.az. The production of ethyl alcohol in Azerbaijan for January-July of this year increased by 23.9% compared to the same period last year.

ABC.AZ reports citing data from the State Statistics Committee, during this time 39,900 decaliters (dal) of ethyl alcohol were produced in the country.

Azerbaijan has accumulated reserves of 17,200 dal of ethyl alcohol.

The production of methanol (methyl alcohol) in the country also increased by 13.2%. In January-July of this year, 296,600 tons of methanol were produced.
