August 29, Fineko/abc.az. Tobacco production in Azerbaijan for January-July of this year increased 2.6 times compared to the corresponding period of last year.

ABC.AZ reports, citing data from the State Statistics Committee, that during this time the country produced 2,589.4 tons of tobacco and accumulated 359.1 tons of tobacco stocks.

For the first 7 months of this year, the production volume of cigarettes and cigars increased by 5.8% and reached 9,197.2 tons.
