Shops in underpasses of 20 January metro station cease operations

August 30, Fineko/abc.az. Shops operating in the underpasses of the 20 January station of the Baku Metro ceased their activities. Entrepreneurs say the decision was made the evening prior.

ABC.AZ reports citing APA that the shops were found closed in the morning, with the reason behind the closures remaining unknown.

Bakhtiyar Mammadov, head of the Baku Metro press service, stated that the facilities in the underpasses of the 20 January and Jafar Jabbarli metro stations have no connection to the Baku Metro itself. The Baku City Executive Power also denied any involvement in the matter.
