September 4, Fineko/abc.az. Russia remains the main buyer of Turkish fish for the fourth year in a row. Top 3 of main destinations for export of such products from the republic also includes Italy ($132 million) and the Netherlands ($98 million).

ABC.AZ informs that the data of the statistical service of the republic says that Russia has increased the purchase of fish from Türkiye on a record basis.

Over Jan-Jul 2024, fish supplies to the Russian Federation reached $190.5 million, which became a historical maximum. Compared with the 2023 same term, purchases grew by $15 million. The main volume of supplies this year accounted for trout ($158.8 million), laurel ($11 million) and carp ($8.3 million).
