September 5, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of production of Baku Shipbuilding Plant LLC, a resident of the Garadagh Industrial Park under the jurisdiction of the Economic Zones Development Agency, has increased.

ABC.AZ reports that if in the 1st half of 2023 the production of the plant amounted to 8.3 million manats, then in the 1st half of 2024 the production reached 25 million manats, an increase of more than 3-fold versus Jan-Jun 2023.

Currentlyç 722 people are provided with permanent work at the plant.

Baku Shipbuilding Plant LLC has saved more than 73 million manats as a result of import VAT and customs privileges introduced in the Garadagh Industrial Park from 2015 to the present.

The company carries out activities for the construction and repair of vessels for various purposes that meet modern requirements, and in general for the performance of marine and engineering works.
