September 11, Fineko/abc.az. The Agency is proud to create the first innovation center in Azerbaijan called AIM.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting Inara Veliyeva, chairman of the Agency for Innovation & Digital Development (under the Ministry of Transport & Digital Development of Azerbaijan), as saying this at panel discussion "Innovation as culture" within the forum Chain Reaction 2024.

"The Agency is proud to create the first innovation center in Azerbaijan called AIM (Azerbaijan Innovation Center). We plan to open this center in October in Baku and Sumgayit, and by the end of the year – another one in the regions. Next year we plan to open several new centers in Baku," she said.

Inara Veliyeva is convinced that public-private partnerships will help ensure the sustainability of initiatives, and the business sector will play a key role in their long-term development.

The second day of the Chain Reaction 2024 forum has started in Baku. The main topics of the event are blockchain, Web3, artificial intelligence and digital assets.
