September 11, Fineko/abc.az. The European Commission will reduce import duties on Tesla electric vehicles manufactured in China from 9% to less than 8%.

ABC.AZ reports that according to Bloomberg, at the same time, if duties fall for Tesla, then the expectations of other Chinese, that is, local manufacturers of electric cars are not so rosy. In August, the EC set fees for Chinese automotive products ranging from 17% to 36.3%. They are expected to enter into force in the EU on November 4.

China, in turn, has already complained to the WTO about unfair competition. The country's Foreign Affairs Ministry called the EU investigation into the Chinese car industry a typical example of protectionism.
