September 11, Fineko/abc.az. Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov held a meeting with EBRD new executive director for Türkiye & the South Caucasus, Elizabeth Falchetti, and wished her success in her work, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Ministry of Economy.

At the meeting, Azerbaijan's successful relations with the EBRD in various areas were highlighted. It was noted that there are wide opportunities for cooperation in the direction of achieving the set development goals. In this context, the Bank discussed the steps that need to be taken to implement priority projects in the energy sector, especially renewable and alternative energy, private sector development, infrastructure and other areas.

The sides also exchanged views on issues related to the EBRD's participation in public-private partnership projects in Azerbaijan, including the seawater desalination project, as well as the participation of EBRD experts within COP29.
