September 12, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation has published new methodological recommendations for geography teachers for 2024/2025.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the document, teachers are instructed to consider in the lessons "the common features and peculiarities of the economic and geographical location, natural resource capital, population and economy of Iran, an important strategic partner of Russia".

Before that, Iran was not included in the topic "Overseas Asia", and the students paid attention only to China, India and Japan.
