September 12, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), with the participation of the State Oil Fund, held a currency auction.

According to the CBA, at the foreign exchange auction on September 12, the demand of banks amounted to $54.45 million and was fully secured. This is $36.29 million (40%) less than at the last auction.

At a foreign exchange auction on September 10, the CBA sold $90.74 million to banks.

According to the results of the currency auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat was formed at the level of 1.7000 AZN/USD.
