September 12, Fineko/abc.az. The average oil price in 2024 is comfortable for Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that Samir Nasirov, the director of the CBA Statistics Department, said about this at a briefing at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

He also commented on the expectations associated with the devaluation:

"The CBA should look at the fundamentals in order to conduct an analysis. The most important element of the fundamental indicators is the consolidated balance of payments, which is the country's balance of payments. Despite the fulfillment of large amounts of obligations in the first half of this year, reserve assets increased by $648 million. In particular, the general picture is clarified by positive indicators on the foreign trade balance. Therefore, I consider the information disseminated to be incorrect."
