September 12, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of 2024, turnover of mutual tourism services in Azerbaijan totaled $1.7 billion (54.4% more versus Jan-Jun 2023), ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Central Bank.

Exports of tourism services reached $946.6 million and imports - $717.3 million. Thus, the balance surplus in tourism services amounted to $229.3 million.

In the 1st half of 2024, the number of tourists visiting Azerbaijan grew by 34%, and the number of Azerbaijani citizens traveling abroad by 25.7%.
