September 12, Fineko/abc.az. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has given a US$ 60 million loan to Turkish company Borusan EnBW Enerji for development and construction of 116 MW wind power facilities in Sivas and Tekirdag.

ABC.AZ reports that Borusan EnBW Energy, a joint venture between Borusan Holding and EnBW AG, is one of the leading energy companies in the country, whose portfolio is mainly focused on onshore wind energy.

The company currently operates 730 MW of renewable installed capacity, increasing it to 935 MW after completion of projects under construction.

The expansion of wind energy, which generates 382 GWh of renewable energy, will reduce annual CO2 emissions by 243,000 tons, EBRD’s statement says.
