September 13, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of money transfers from Türkiye to the population of Azerbaijan in the 1st half of this year amounted to $82 million 293 thousand.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that the money transfers of individuals to Azerbaijan from Türkiye is $11.619 million, or 16% more than a year ago. In the 1st half of 2023, the money transfers totaled $70.674 million.

Individuals’ money transfers from Azerbaijan to Türkiye grew by $11.945 million, or 18.5%, up to 76.624 million manats compared with last year.

The money transfers to Türkiye for the same period of 2023 reached $64.679 million. Thus, the money transfers to Azerbaijan from Türkiye exceeded transfers back by $5.669 million.
