September 16, Fineko/abc.az. As of August 8, 3,706 Pakistani companies were registered in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Economy Minister Samad Bashirli said about this at the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Business Forum in Baku.

He added that 3,304 of them are currently actively working: "Pakistani companies play an important role in the economy of Azerbaijan. We value investment opportunities in various sectors with our Pakistani counterparts to expand economic cooperation between the two countries. There are opportunities for joint cooperation in areas with investment potential, such as the space industry and energy projects. Pakistan's investment opportunities in the oil and gas sector and the mining industry are being explored."
