September 16, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2024, the number of tourists from Pakistan to Azerbaijan grew by 51% and exceeded 40,000.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting Deputy Minister of Economy Samad Bashirli, as saying this at the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Business Forum in Baku.

"There is potential for development of tourism cooperation between the two countries. Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) operates regular flights twice a week from Baku to Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore," Bashirli emphasized.
