September 18, Fineko/abc.az. Innovations in the tax and customs sphere are predicted in Azerbaijan in 2025.

ABC.AZ reports that expectations are reflected in the initial regulation of the State Budget and the economic forecasts of the Ministry of Finance for 2025.

Based on the innovations, next year such steps as optimizing the tax burden, supporting entrepreneurship and stimulating investments in strategic industries, improving tax and customs administration mechanisms, and increasing turnover of eco-friendly vehicles are planned.

The main works to be carried out in these areas are as follows:

I. Stimulating the investment climate and entrepreneurial activity, reducing the tax burden of business entities, including the provision of tax incentives within the framework of public-private partnerships and the application of tax incentives on the income of microentrepreneurs in certain areas of services.

II. Further work to stimulate turnover and improve infrastructure of eco-friendly and safe vehicles;

III. Improving the mechanism of tax and customs administration and improving legislation in this area;

IV. Improvement of the state duty management system.
