September 18, Fineko/abc.az. It is planned to connect the 132 kV Julfa-Julfa overhead power transmission line between the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and Iran to the Julfa substation, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Cabinet Ministers of Nakhchivan.
The substation of system value 132/110/10 "Julfa", built in the late 90s of the last century and whose equipment has been in operation for a long time, is being rebuilt in order to remove high-voltage power lines from residential areas. Two new 110/35/10 kV transformers with capacity of 16 MVA were purchased for the substation.
One of them was delivered to the NAR, and work is underway at the substation to install it. Another power transformer will be delivered to Nakhchivan in the near future. It is also planned to connect a 110 kV double-circuit overhead power transmission line to the substation, which will be laid from the Ordubad hydroelectric power station with capacity of 36 MW to the Nakhchivan modular power plant with capacity of 87 MW, the construction of which will continue.
