September 18, Fineko/abc.az. Working days and weekends have been reversed in Azerbaijan.
ABC.AZ reports that the relevant decree was signed by the country's Prime Minister Ali Asadov.
So, in order to ensure the consistency of working days and weekends, the working days of November 12 and 13 were swapped with the days off on November 16 and 23, respectively.
The Victory Day is celebrated in Azerbaijan on November 8, and November 9 is the Day of the National Flag. These dates are considered non-working holidays. This year, November 9 falls on Saturday, so in accordance with the Labor Code, next Monday - November 11 - will also be a non-working day.
Thus, due to the postponement of working days and weekends, residents of Azerbaijan will receive six non-working days in a row - 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and on November 13.
