September 19, Fineko/abc.az. On November 15-16, 2024, the first investment forum on energy transition in Central Asia will be held in Baku within the framework of COP29.
ABC.AZ reports that according to the Ministry of Energy, the forum aims to increase ambitions and support practical measures in this area, given that climate-related financing is a priority.
The two-day forum will bring together stakeholders from around the world and the region to promote investment in renewable energy transition projects in Central Asia. The forum will provide a platform for organizing a broad dialogue between governments, financial institutions, investors, project executive partners, project developers and other key stakeholders in promoting the development of renewable energy sources and opportunities to increase investments in energy transition technologies to advance the consensus results achieved by the UAE in COP28. There will also be opportunities for bilateral sessions and an exhibition area to showcase renewable energy projects in the region to global investors and stakeholders.
