September 19, Fineko/abc.az. New standard GOST 35075-2024 "Plant-based beverages (from grain, nuts, coconut) will come into force in Russia from September 2027. General technical conditions". It sets requirements for plant-based beverages such as cereals, legumes, oilseeds, nuts and coconut.

ABC.AZ reports that the standard includes definition of terms and concepts, classification of herbal beverages, technical requirements for composition, quality and safety of products, rules for acceptance, transportation and storage.

The new GOST is designed to ensure uniform quality and safety standards for herbal beverages in Russia.
