President Ilham Aliyev recalls Azerbaijani ambassador to Russia

September 23, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has recalled Polad Bulbul-oglu, the republic's ambassador to Russia, from his post, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the website of the Azerbaijani leader.

"To recall Polad Bulbul-oglu from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Russian Federation," the statement says.

On August 18, Bulbul-oglu announced the completion of his diplomatic mission in Moscow and plans to work in the city of Shusha in Karabakh, where his father was born. He served as the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia for more than 18 years. The diplomat wished success to his successor.
