Rate of employment contracts has increased over past 6 years

September 26, Fineko/abc.az. Within the past 6 years, the number of employment contracts has increased by 44%.

ABC.AZ reports quoting Deputy Minister of Labor & Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev as saying this at an international conference held in Baku.

He noted that in the period after 2018, 4 packages of social reforms were implemented, covering 4 million people, with annual additional financial resources in the amount of 7 billion manats (about $4.1 billion): "During this period, social benefits grew 2.5-fold, minimum pension 2.5-fold, average monthly pension 2.4-fold, social and pension payments 5-fold, average monthly salary by 84%, median salary 2.2-fold, minimum wage 2.7-fold, wage fund 2.8-fold."

He added that over the past 6 years, the number of employment contracts has increased by 44% or 563,000 as a result of measures in the field of regulating labor relations and combating informal employment.
