September 30, Fineko/abc.az. The settlement of the city of Aghdam is scheduled to begin in autumn 2025.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting Emin Huseynov, President’s Special Representative in the Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavend districts.

He told about plans to create five quarters in the city.

"Currently, 66 residential buildings are under construction in the second quarter. The return of the first residents to the city is planned next autumn. The quarters will be populated as the construction work is completed."

Huseynov said that construction works in three villages - Kengerli, Khidirli, Sarijali - are ongoing in Aghdam district.

"In addition, work on the restoration of village Bash Garvend is being carried out jointly with Slovak specialists," Huseynov said.
