September 30, Fineko/abc.az. As of September 1, 2024, the deposit portfolio of legal entities in Azerbaijani banks amounted to 5.28 bn manats.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant information is reflected in the monthly statistical bulletin of the Central Bank.

The bulletin noted that the deposit portfolio decreased by 47.5 million manats (0.9%) over the month, declined by 781.8 million manats (17.4%) compared to the end of last year, and increased by 1.498 bn manats (39.6%) over the year.

2.96 bn manats of the deposit portfolio are formed in foreign currency.

This figure also dropped by 135.1 million manats (4.4%) compared to the end of last year and increased by 297.6 million manats (11.2%) - by 551.9 million manats (23%) compared to last year.
