October 2, Fineko/abc.az. Climate change affects people and human capital, ABC.AZ reports, quoting WB country manager for Azerbaijan, Stefanie Stallmeister, as saying this during his speech on the 3rd day of the Baku Climate Action Week.

She noted that despite the fact that great successes were achieved in Azerbaijan in 2010-2020 thanks to human capital, Azerbaijan lags slightly behind regional countries in this area:

"The WB supports projects of the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection through professional development of employees. We hope by doing so we’ll contribute to development of human capital in Azerbaijan," she added.
