October 2, Fineko/abc.az. The premiums and compensation payments on voluntary insurance of citizens traveling abroad have decreased in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that for Jan-Aug 2024 the premiums on this type of insurance amounted to 4.9 million manats (411,000 manats or 9% less against the 2023 same term - 4.504 million manats).

Compensation payments on this type of insurance amounted to 181,000 manats (10,000 manats or 5% less versus Jan-Aug 2023 - 191,000 manats).

And the loss rate was 4% (no change for Jan-Aug 2023 - 4%).
