October 3, Fineko/abc.az. The amount of the lump-sum allowance paid to children who have lost their parents and are left without parental care, as well as to persons from among them at the first employment, increases.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the proposed draft amendments to the Law  on the social protection of children who have lost their parents and are left without parental care, discussed at today's meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Family, Women & Children.

The head of the Social Legislation Department of the Parliament, Adil Veliyev, stated that in order to apply the more effective principle of social security and bring it into line with other legislative acts, it is proposed to establish lump-sum allowance in the amount of 6,000 manats, taking into account the current version of the law and the size of the average monthly nominal salary in the country (the average monthly nominal salary in the country, announced by the State Statistics Committee for the last time amounted to 1,003.5 manats), including clothing and shoes in the specified allowance, soft inventory and equipment or the amount of monetary compensation for their replacement.
