October 11, Fineko/abc.az. About 1,100 municipalities in Azerbaijan have debts to the State Social Protection Fund in the amount of approx. 8 million manats, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Farid Aliyev, the head of the sector for work with municipalities of the Department of Territorial & Organizational Issues of the Presidential Administration, as saying this at a meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Regional Issues.

He noted that as statistics change, this amount may also change.

In addition, it was pointed out that about 400 municipalities have no additional income other than land taxes.
