October 17, Fineko/abc.az. Six municipalities will be merged in Absheron district.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the Draft Law on Creation of New Municipalities in Azerbaijan through the Unification of Municipalities.

According to the draft, the following new municipalities will be created by merging municipalities in Absheron district:

 - Ashagi Guzdek municipality in Ashagi Guzdek village, covered by Ashagi Guzdek and Perekishkul-Ashagi Guzdek municipalities and in Gobustan and Pirekishkul villages, covered by Gobustan Municipality;

- Fatmai Municipality in the villages of Fatmai and Geradil, covered by Fatmai and Gorodil municipalities;

- Gobu municipality in Guzdek and Gobu villages, covered by Guzdek and Gobu municipalities.
