October 24, Fineko/abc.az. The premiums and compensation payments on compulsory real estate insurance observed growth in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that for Jan-Sept 2024, the premiums on this type of insurance amounted to 66.386 million manats (318,000 manats or 0.5% less versus Jan-Sept 2023 - 66.7 million manats).

Insurance compensations were paid for 2.367 million manats (2-fold or 2.479 million manats less than on an annual basis).

Over Jan-Sept 2023, the payments were made in the amount of 4.846 million manats.

The loss rate was 4% (3% less than a year ago - 7%).
