 October 29, Fineko/abc.az. A regulation on the functioning of the city of Naftalan as a resort is being developed.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Minister of Health Nadir Zeynalov said about this at the event "Azerbaijan Conference on Healthy Tourism: Development Opportunities" in Shusha.

"Naftalan oil ranks first among the country's natural healing resources. It has positive effect on the treatment of various diseases. Half of the health and wellness facilities operating in the country are located in Naftalan. Therefore, it is necessary to promote Naftalan in the world as an Azerbaijani brand. Advertising alone is not enough for this. We need evidence, scientific publications that will convince people. Existing publications have lost their relevance, as they relate to the Soviet period, while new scientific methods of treatment have appeared. The impact of naphthalan oil on human health, the study of these effects and the coverage of these topics in international scientific articles will be very effective," the deputy minister added.
