November 1, Fineko/abc.az. A joint project of Turkish energy company Botas and Gazprom (Russia) on the basis of the Turkish gas hub – the international gas trading center will appear in Istanbul next year, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar.

He added that Vladimir Putin confirmed to Turkish President Erdogan that he would give instructions to Gazprom on the occasion.

The price of gas will be formed in Istanbul. Russia will sell gas according to the formula with the Istanbul gas index, the minister explained.
