November 1, Fineko/abc.az. The 29th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) will be held in Baku on November 11-22.

ABC.AZ informs that according to Azerbaijani Cabinet Ministers’ Resolution, schoolchildren will go on long autumn holidays during this period - November 12-22. Secondary specialized and higher educational institutions in Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron region will switch to distance learning format. 70% of employees of state institutions will work online.

During the COP29 Leaders' summit on November 11, 12 and 13, a number of restrictions will be imposed on Baku roads, in particular on the airport highway, Heydar Aliyev Avenue, Neftchilar Avenue, Yusif Safarov, Niyazi, Istiglaliyat, Lermontov, Mikail Useynov, Khagani Rustamov, Teymur Elchin and Mehdi Huseyn streets.

The participants of the event will use buses, metro and rail transport for free. To do this, they just need to show their accreditation card.
