 November 4, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) sold foreign currency for $5.919 billion for Jan-Oct 2024 (2.6-fold more versus the 2023 same term), ABC.AZ reports, referring to SOFAZ.

This October, SOFAZ's foreign currency sales reached $174.4 million (13.9% less than in October 2023).

SOFAZ’s trasnfer to the State Budget should amount to 12.78 billion manats this year. Over the past 10 months, 10.65 billion manats were to be provided out of them. Over Jan-Oct 2024, SOFAZ finances from the sale of foreign currency totaled close to 587.8 million manats less – 10.63 billion manats.
