 November 4, Fineko/abc.az. The management of Bulgarian NPP Kozloduy will sign a contract for construction of new facilities at the plant with American company Westinghouse Electric and South Korea’s Hyundai Engineering.

ABC.AZ reports that the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) informs about this with reference to the government press service.

By Bulgarian National Assembly’s decision, Hyundai was selected to negotiate with a potential developer on the design, construction, supply and commissioning of the 7th and 8th power units of Kozloduy NPP with AP1000 technology from Westinghouse.

"The joint work of two international companies, Westinghouse and Hyundai, to provide comprehensive services will ensure  completion of the project on time and within budget," the statement says.
