November 4, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2024, the Baku trade turnover grew by 4.9% versus the 2023 same term up to 24.949 billion manats.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Baku City Statistics Department that the value of food, beverages and tobacco products sold in the retail chain increased by 2.4% versus Jan-Sept 2023 up to 14.219 billion manats, while the volume of non-food products by 8.4% up to 10.729 billion manats. 36.7% of consumer goods were sold at enterprises with the status of legal entity, 49.3% in retail facilities owned by individual entrepreneurs, and 14% in the commodity markets of the capital.

Over Jan-Sept 2024, food, beverages and tobacco products for 42.7 billion manats, including 23.5 billion manats, and non-food products for 19.2 billion manats were sold to consumers in the retail trade network in Azerbaijan.
