World's first wooden satellite launched into space as part of SpaceX mission

 November 5, Fineko/abc.az. The world's first wooden satellite built in Japan was launched into space as part of the mission of American company Space X, ABC.AZ reports, referring to Reuters.

Wooden satellite LignoSat, developed at Kyoto University, will be delivered to the International Space Station (ISS) and launched into orbit at an altitude of about 400 km above the Earth. The agency notes that the purpose of this mission will be "to demonstrate the space potential of renewable materials".
