November 5, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Oct 2024, 2,209,720 foreign citizens and stateless persons visited Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Tourism Agency that the figure is 28% more against Jan-Oct 2023.

This October, 226,359 foreigners and stateless persons arrived in the country (21% more than in October 2023).

For the past 10 months, the largest number of tourists arrived in Azerbaijan from Russia (630,327 people). Türkiye is in 2nd place (357,615 people) and India - 3rd place (201,382 people).

Top 10 of countries in terms of tourist flow to Azerbaijan also includes Iran, Georgia, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, China and Uzbekistan.

For Jan-Oct 2024, 176,900 tourists arrived from Iran, 90,800 tourists from Georgia, 89,100 tourists from Saudi Arabia, 73,500 tourists from Kazakhstan, 66,300 tourists from Pakistan, 38,200 tourists from China, 37,500 tourists from Uzbekistan, 35,200 tourists from the UAE, 30,400 tourists from Ukraine, 28,400 tourists from Kuwait, 27,200 from Turkmenistan, 25,600 tourists from Israel.
