 November 15, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2024, the hotels and hotel-type facilities in Azerbaijan received net profit of 105.96 million manats.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the profit of the Baku hotels reached 93.579 million manats.

The profit of 7 more districts exceeded 1 million manats. Among them districts Guba (5.7 million manats), Gabala (4.55 million manats), Gusar (2.53 million manats), Shemakha (1.82 million manats), Khachmaz (1.575 million manats), Masalli (1.453 million manats) and Sheki (1.319 million manats).

Hotels in 4 districts have small profit. These are the hotels of Lerik (700 manats), Agdash (1,000 manats), Zardab (1,400 manats) and Salyan (3,000 manats).

The hotels and hotel-type facilities in 18 districts suffered losses.

Some hotels are in critical condition at the moment. Thus, hotels in Shushi suffered losses of about 3 million manats, and hotels in Lankaran - nearly 2.866 million manats. The revenues generated by these hotels were lower than the cost of producing services.
