November 20, Fineko/abc.az. Despite the fact that last year 10 million manats were allocated for the creation of films about the Patriotic War, as a result of the competition, only 4.4 million manats were spent on the creation of 40 films.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Minister of Culture Farid Jafarov made this statement at a parliamentary meeting dedicated to discussing the budget package for 2025.

"As for the joint production of films with foreign countries, the joint production of films from the Turkic world has begun through TÜRKSOY. This is the movie “Molla Nasruddin”, and it will be commercial. In 2023, the state also decided to support commercial films. We think this will lead to development in this area," Jafarov said.
